Well it's not a new trend but I am a fan. Although I love this trend my fat legs just cannot rock this properly. On the right leg with the perfect heel this trend is definitely here to stay.

The slightly humorous commentary of a not so single, kinda overweight, 30-ish, fashion advocate finding a spot to breathe somewhere in between Skinny Models, Big Macs, and Michael Kors dresses.

I think the first photo reminds me of my grandma's pantyhose when they gathered at her ankles, but examples are pretty cute. Right sock, right shoe, it could work.
I'm ambivalent. The pics are cute. But the idea of having socks on wit heels makes my feet claustrophobic! I mean socks could add the little extra to make the heel fit just right (you know how we slide a little at times). But eels accentuate the leg, ankle and foot. Not so much with the bulk of a sock. Just my thoughts!
I prefer the trend on skinnier legs but it definitely has to be paired with the right heel and the right sock. I tried it a few weeks ago - wrong heel, wrong sock, LMBO. But it did solve the "foot slide" problem I often times have.
