Halle Berry is Single Again

I just don't know if there's any hope for women these days. We already out number men by an astronomical amount. Statistics show that successful black women cannot find or keep a man and unfortunately Halle isn't proving them wrong.

Halle Berry's camp announced last week that she was indeed splitting from her boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, of four years. Contrary to what we all think it was Halle who called it "quits" stating he wasn't pulling his weight and she knew it wasn't going to work out.

A source told People magazine: "She kicked him out months ago because he wasn't able to pull his weight in the relationship and she wanted to move on. They're very amicable in healthy ways because of their child. Her main concern is for the health and happiness of her daughter."

Gabriel says: "While I will not comment on all of the wild inaccuracies being speculated about in the media, I am sad to say that Halle and I have decided together to separate at this time. She is, and will forever be one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to have only love and respect for one another. We have been blessed with the most amazing daughter in the world, and her happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us. Please respect our privacy during this very difficult time."
